Q: Sometimes the body demand is different and the mind is against this bodily demand, then conflict between them is arising in the mind. At that time what should I do?
A: Thank you for your question. When you say the body wants one thing and the mind resists it, you're describing a moment of division - but the division is in the mind. The body doesn’t argue - it simply moves, feels, responds. The mind creates the conflict by comparing, judging, and resisting. So the first thing I would say is: slow down, pause the doing, and make space to simply be.
As you sit in stillness, drop into the felt sense of what is - not to believe the body or the mind, but to notice both. Feel the sensation in the body. Notice the story in the mind. And then ask: what is aware of both?
That awareness - the one that sees the body’s sensations and the mind’s thoughts - is not in conflict. It is already at peace. From that space, the next step often becomes clear, not as a decision you make, but as a natural unfolding. If the heart contracts, feel that. If the belly tightens, feel that. If there’s a pressure to 'figure it out', let that be noticed too - and rest as the Witnessing Presence.
So instead of following the mind or the body, I'm suggesting becoming still enough to hear what's true underneath both.
I hope this answers your question.
