Does Consciousness create suffering? 

Of course it is Consciousness that is the source of all wars, suffering, hatred, violence, terrorism, greed, etc. There is nothing else!

However, it is incredibly important to point out that Consciousness in its pure form will NEVER knowingly lead to the doings of such atrocities. It is Consciousness veiled in the form of a limited, temporary, fearful, illusory idea that acts that way.

And those actions have no effect on Consciousness - it is like an actor taking the role of a really broken, fed up, tired, trauma-filled character, and pretends to be that. It is not that, and never was that, nor will ever be that.
